ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE

Gratitude – A quality of being thankful.

With the ongoing covid-19, where many countries are locked down, travel plans cancelled, everyone advised to stay indoors not just for their safety but for the safety of others as well. We have come together as a collective and it’s a beautiful thing to see. We humans are united despite age,religion,race,color,status,caste and nationality. Isn’t that something to be grateful for?

For a very long time, we have been complaining about the lack of time. Now we have all the TIME we have always asked for, complained and craved for. The time to spend with family and children, or getting back into our favourite hobbies or activities that we once enjoyed. Picking up a new hobby, learning, journaling, or just listening to our favourite music. The universe has gifted us all at the same moment with this gift of “TIME”. This pandemic may or may not be around for a long time but it shouldn’t stop us from living our lives, we are still breathing. We have been told to maintain social distancing not to stop living, this is an opportunity for us to recover, recharge and rediscover.

Constant worrying is not going to change the situation for now so should we not re-direct that energy towards our own happiness or internal growth instead? Yes, you can still watch the news and keep yourself updated on what is going on around you and the world but this is also your moment to prioritize your health. Being healthy is not just physical but also linked with your emotional and mental connection.

So with an attitude of gratitude, thank you universe for this moment, thank you for giving me this space and time, thank you for listening to mankind and thank you for this gift! I will be forever grateful for this universal gift.
