About the Facilitator

The Shunya Breathe™ Method was born from a deeply personal journey of transformation.

In 2017, while training under her guru for her yoga certification, Dr. Sadhna Upadhya was introduced to a sequence of advanced breathwork techniques, each designed to balance the body, calm the mind and deepen awareness. Over time, these practices became a quiet anchor in her own life.

When the world slowed down during the pandemic and she herself moved through profound emotional and physical change, she turned back to these teachings. Through consistent practice, she found a sense of clarity, resilience and peace that no external method had offered before.

As she began sharing breathwork with others, she noticed something important. Many people practiced techniques without truly understanding their effects. Each breath pattern activates different physiological and energetic systems, and without guidance, even the simplest practice can sometimes create imbalance.

This realization inspired her to refine and simplify what she had learned into a structured, accessible, and safe system that still retained the depth of its origins.

The Shunya Breathe™ Method emerged as a five-step journey from grounding to expansion, from inner stillness to outer clarity.
